Feldman Gale Opens Office in Maryland Office added to firm's sophisticated intellectual property expertise MIAMI, FL - Feldman Gale, a Miami-based firm that focuses on intellectual property matters, has opened an office in Bethesda, Maryland. The new office, located at 4720 Montgomery Lane, Suite 400, Bethesda, Maryland, will be headed by firm partner Gregory L. Hillyer. "The firm has always wanted to strengthen its position in the D.C area to better serve its clients, and now was the ideal time to do so," said James A. Gale, a founding partner of the firm. "Greg has been with the firm many years and his legal and technical experience, coupled with his strong roots in the D.C. area, make him a perfect fit for this expansion." Hillyer, a Registered Patent Attorney, focuses his practice in the field of patent law including litigation, procurement, client counseling, licensing, due diligence and opinion work. Prior to joining Feldman Gale, he worked as an Associate Attorney at a Philadelphia-based intellectual property firm and as a Patent Agent for the DuPont Pharmaceutical Company. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University School of Law. Before practicing law, Hillyer worked as a synthetic chemist for DuPont Merck Research Laboratories and an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Wingate University. Hillyer received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Temple University, his B.S. degree from the State University of New York and his M.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Pennsylvania and Florida Supreme Courts, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
